To PhD or Not to PhD. . .

February of this year, I met with the admissions counselor at Fielding University to find out about their PhD. program.  After speaking with her I decided to apply and started the process.  In August of this year, I sent in all the required paperwork and documentation. 

In October I received the news that I had been invited to the next step of the application process and was granted an interview with a member of Fielding’s faculty.  On October 14, I had my interview and it went very well.  During the conversation, I was offered the names of two people – one had graduated the doctoral program and the other was in the process of writing their dissertation.  After speaking with one of the individuals, I was more than convinced that Fielding was the place for me.

November came and I have been patiently waiting on the acceptance decisions.  Wish me luck!
