I have come back to this posting and this message at least a dozen times over the past few weeks and it touches me each time.

When I think of Dr. Pausch, I think of him in the present because in a very real sense he is with us now.

Though it has been nearly two months since Doctor Pausch's passing, I try to keep alive his message and his memory and his enthusiasm each day.

Dreams do matter and every day matters.

I like to think of humor as the h in PhD and that even the great philosopher Plato had a good sense of humor...

The phenomenology example goes to show that some very profound concepts can be made simple and understandable.

Goldilocks and the three bears is my favorite phenomenological fairy tale. Hmmm.... I wonder if there is a dissertation topic in there?

Welcome home muse!

After your travels across the globe, the time is perfect to embark on our next "journey of the mind" in Anaheim.

Keep going with your Fielding studies and your blog. I'm using my blog eventually for my comps (which occur immediately prior to the dissertation stage). See my blog at www.phdconfidential.wordpress.com - I started the Fielding program in Sept 2007 and I LOVE it.

Great thoughts on inspiration and a very fitting post for a muse.

While big is often equated with power, being "little" offers limitless possibilities.

Next to "I don't have enough time", the phrase "I can't make a difference" is one of the great lies that we are taught to believe.

To journey onward means to reject these lies and embrace the limitless possiblities of of being "little".
